Charles E. THOMAS 
Charles E. was born in May 1883 in Greene, Parke Co., Indiana.1 Charles E.'s father was Nathaniel Parker THOMAS and his mother was Nancy Jane DYKES. His paternal grandparents were George THOMAS and Rachel MURROW. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Edward, Walter, Raymond, Ada E., Estella and Mary. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 50 on September 21st, 1933 in Parke Co., Indiana.1 General Notes

BIOGRAPHY: 1900 census: Farm laborer living with parents. 1910 census: With brother Edward.
Lived in Beech Grove near Indianapolis where he worked for Big Four Railroad. About 1928 he fell and broke his back and, two years later, moved back to Parke Co., Indiana where he bought the home of Arthur Littick.
