Elizabeth was born in 1506.1   Elizabeth's father was John Sydenham and her mother was Elizabeth Hody.  Her paternal grandparents were John Sydenham and Elizabeth Gambon; her maternal grandparents were William Hody and Eleanor Mallett. She had a brother and a sister, named John and Joan.

Elizabeth's family with John (of Melton) Wyndham

Elizabeth and of Melton were married in 1533 in Somerset, England.1   They had four sons named of Kentsford, John, Humphrey and Charles.
