Sarah Martha Spears

Sarah Martha was born on May 4th, 1889. Sarah Martha's father was James William Spears and her mother was Isabella Spaw. Her paternal grandparents were Hezekiah "Ki" Spears and Catherine "Caty" Wesley; her maternal grandparents were George Washington Spaw and Frances "Fanny" Dick. She had nine brothers and four sisters, named George Riley, Hezekiah "Hessie", Albert Theodore "Bert", Rufus, John Thomas, James Hubert, William Catron, Banlow, Christopher Columbus, Fannie Catrin, Octolona, Mary Ellen and Rosetta. She was the sixth youngest of the fourteen children.
