Blanche Irene was born on April 12th, 1919 in Henderson Co., KY.1 Blanche Irene's father was Harry Ivo Smithhart and her mother was Nora Jane Skaggs. Her maternal grandparents were John Matthew Skaggs and Sallie V. Roark. She had a brother and a sister, named Melvin Matthew and Katherine Lucille. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 55 on September 22nd, 1974 in La Jolla, San Diego Co., CA. She was buried in 1974 in Sunset Memorial Cemetery Evansville, IN.2 2 -
