Herbert Simmons 
Herbert was born on December 13th, 1921. Herbert's father was Jacob Z. T. Simmons and his mother was Lorinda 'Rinda' Lawson. His paternal grandparents were Rev. Simon Dillard Simmons and Mary Lucinda Lawson. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Benton, William Casto, Carl A., Hershel, Verlon, Bessie, Maggie Lou, Ruby and Ida. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 80 on February 4th, 2002. He was buried in Blackburn Cemetery, Bledsoe Co, TN.General Notes
