Doris R. was born on October 1st, 1944. Doris R.'s father was John C. Shofner and her mother was Estelle Atherton. Her maternal grandparents were Oscar Atherton and Sophronia 'Fronie' Stillwell. She had two half-sisters named Edith Catherine and Ionie. She died at the age of 21 on September 14th, 1966. She was buried in Otter Creek Baptist Church, LaRue County, Kentucky.-
