William Rucker

William was born in 1840. William's father was William Rucker and his mother was Betsy Rushing. His paternal grandparents were Elliot Rucker and Stacey Wheeler. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named James, Felix, Jemima, Nancy Jane, Violet, Stacey, Kizzie, Fannie and Mary Catherine. He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
