James Edgar Roberts 
James Edgar was born on October 18th, 1900 in Rockingham Co, NC. James Edgar's father was Joseph Walker Roberts and his mother was Henrietta Clay Ellington. His paternal grandparents were Nebuchanezer Roberts and Mary A. Floyd. He had two brothers and a sister, named Oliver Benton, Harry Walker and Annie H.. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 58 on August 29th, 1959 in Winston-Salem, Forsyth Co, NC. He was buried on August 31st, 1959 in Mount Herman Baptist Church Cemetery, Rockingham Co, NC.General Notes
