Earl William Ramsay of Fife 
William was born about 1330 in Auchterhouse, Angusshire, Scotland.1 William's father was Sir Henry Ramsay and his mother was <Unknown>. His paternal grandparents were Robert Ramsay and <Unknown>. He had two brothers and a sister, named Malcolm, John and Margery. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died in 1360 in Colluthie, Fifeshire, Scotland.2 General Notes
Sir William Ramsay of Colluthie, who was captured by the English both at Battle of Neville's Cross (1346) and when he fought for the French at Poitiers (1356), was created Earl of Fife in 1358 by King David II.
