Christopher Preston 
Christopher was born in 1523 in Preston Richard, Heversham, Westmoreland, England. Christopher's father was Sir Thomas Preston and his mother was Anne Thornburgh. His maternal grandparents were William Thornburgh and Elizabeth Broughton. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Sheriff of Lancashire John, George, Dorothy, Helen, Elizabeth, Anne and Katherine. He was the second youngest of the eight children.-
