Sir Robert Poyntz

Robert was born on October 26th, 1588. Robert's father was Sir John Poyntz of Iron Acton, Sheriff of Gloucestershire and his mother was Elizabeth Sydenham dau of Alexander Sydenham of Luxborough. His paternal grandparents were Sir Nicholas Poyntz of Iron Acton, Sheriff of Gloucestershire and Anne Verney dau of Sir Ralph Verney of Penley. He had a sister named Elizabeth. He was the younger of the two children.
