Lucinda Francis PAYTON 
Lucinda Francis was born on February 15th, 1855 in Parke Co., Indiana.1 Lucinda Francis' father was James Franklin PAYTON and her mother was Elizabeth RUSH. Her paternal grandparents were Anthony PAYTON and Margaret WALLINGFORD. She had a brother and three sisters, named John A., Sarah Jane, Matilda and Sybil. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 52 on August 11th, 1907 in Judson, Parke Co., Indiana. She was buried in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Parke Co., Indiana.2 1 General Notes

DEATH: Rockville Republican 8-21-1907: "Mr. and Mrs. Ben Remington and daughter, Mary, Rev. and Mrs. Frank Welch and Mr. and Mrs. George Guilliams and children attended the funeral of Mrs. Dan Swaim at Parkeville, Last week."
