Harvey O. PAYTON 
Harvey O. was born on November 1st, 1873 in Parke Co., Indiana.1 Harvey O.'s father was John L. PAYTON and his mother was Sarah Elizabeth STOUT. His paternal grandparents were Anthony PAYTON and Margaret WALLINGFORD. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William P., John Edward, Fannie Mae, Lydia Maude and Rosa D.. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 66 on February 25th, 1940 in Los Angeles, California.2 General Notes
