Chloe May PAYTON 
Chloe May was born on July 18th, 1893 in Brownsville, Montgomery Co., Indiana.1 Chloe May's father was William Daniel PAYTON and her mother was Mary E. HEACOX. Her paternal grandparents were George Alexander PAYTON and Malinda JOHNSON. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Grover C., Hughie, Crystal, Bertha L., Leola Nancy and Grace. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She died at the age of 86 on August 17th, 1979 in Clinton, Indiana. She was buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery.1 1 General Notes
