Gwenwynwyn ap Owain Prince of Lower Powys 
Gwenwynwyn ap was born in 1165.1 Gwenwynwyn ap's father was Owain Cyfeiliog ap Gruffydd Prince of Powys and his mother was Gwenllian verch Owain Gwynedd Princess of North Wales. His paternal grandparents were Gruffydd ap Maredudd Lord of Mowddwy and Gwerful verch Gwrgeneu. He had a brother and three sisters, named Cadwallon ap, Gwenllian verch, Gwerful verch and Meddefus verch. He died at the age of 51 in 1216.1 General Notes
