Margaret was born in 1744.  Margaret's father was William Offill and her mother was Mary Rucker.  Her paternal grandparents were John Offill and <Unknown>; her maternal grandparents were Peter Rucker and Elizabeth Fielding. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William, Offill, Elizabeth and Mary.

Margaret's family with Jonathan Underwood

Margaret and Jonathan were married in a religious ceremony in 1760.  They had three sons and two daughters, named James, Gideon, Jonathan, Mary and Margaret.
