Lewis Newton 
Lewis was born about 1862.1 Lewis' father was William Newton and his mother was Hanna Rette Shipley. His maternal grandparents were Benjamin Franklin SHIPLEY and Sarah "Sally" BURKETT. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin Franklin, Stephan A., Sarah Melviney and Mary Ann. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died before 1870 in , , Arkansas, USA.1 -
