Grace Frances NORMAN 
Grace Frances was born on May 4th, 1899 in Talmadge, Dickinson Co., KS.. Grace Frances' father was James H. NORMAN and her mother was Cora J. JEFFCOAT. Her paternal grandparents were Joshua N. **** NORMAN Captain and Mattie (Mattie). She had twelve brothers and two sisters, named Harry Edward, Ivan J., Charles, John, Guy, James H., Clifford Laverne, Clyde Leroy, Raymond, Harold Hubert, Frances, Child, Florence Mae and Gladys Irene. She was the sixth oldest of the fifteen children. She died at the age of 54 on March 2nd, 1954 in Danville, Vermilion Co., IL..General Notes
1910 Census, Chapman Township, Clay County, Kansas, roll T624_434, Pages 1B/49B and 2A/50A, District 1, Images 1144 & 1145. Census sheets are dated 16 & 18 April 1910. Census shows James H. Norman at age 40, living in a home which he owns free of mortgage, working on his own account as a 'Livestock Dealer', and who was born in Illinois of parents both born in Ohio. Wife Cora Norman is age 36, and born in Illinois of parents both born in Illinois. The couple has been married 18 years, circa 1891/1892, and Cora has given birth to 12 children, of whom 10 are still living. There are 10 children in the household, but for some reason the Census taker correctly entered the first child as born in Kansas of parents both born in Illinois, and then show parents both born in Kansas for the remaining 9 children. All 10 children should show Born in Kansas of parents both born in Illinois: Son Harry Norman is age 16, Son Ivan Norman is age 14; Daughter Gladys Norman is age 12; Daughter Grace Norman is age 10; Son John Norman is age 9; Son Guy Norman is age 7; Son James Norman is age 5; Son Clifford Norman is age 3; Son Clyde Norman is age 3; and Son Raymond Norman is age 1 year and 5 months [1 5/12].

Wife Cora Norman is age 27, born during April 1873 in Illinois of parents both born in Illinois. The couple has been married 8 years, circa 1891/1892, and Cora has given birth to 6 children of whom 5 are still living. There are 5 children in the household, all born in Kansas of a Father born in Ohio and a Mother born in Illinois: Son Harry Norman is age 6, born during October 1893; Son Ivan Norman is age 5, born during April 1895; Son Charles Norman is age 3, born during November 1896; Daughter Gladys Norman is age 2, born during February 1898; and Daughter Grace Norman is age 1 year, born during May 1899.
