William Molyneux

William's father was Thomas Molyneux and his mother was Anna Dutton. His paternal grandparents were Richard Molyneux and Elizabeth Stanley; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Dutton and <Unknown>. He was an only child. He died in 1548.¹

General Notes
- (Burke's Peerage Barontage and Knightage 1970 edition)
  He distinguished himself at the battle of Flodden Field, 1513, and took, with his own hand, two standards, which are still preserved in the family.
