John was born in 1490 in Sandwich, Kent, England.1  John's father was Thomas Masters and his mother was Agnes. He had four brothers and a sister, named Peter, Richard, William, Thomas and Alice.  He was the second oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 68 on September 1st, 1558 in Sandwich, Kent, England.  His burial was in Our Lady St. Mary Chapel, Sandwich, Kent, England.2 1 

John's first family with Elizabeth Payne

John and Elizabeth were married in 1509 in Canterbury, Kent, England.1   They had two sons and a daughter, named Thomas, Peter and Agnes.


John's second family with Elizabeth Thompson

They had two sons named John and James.
