Cinead Mac Alpin

Cinead was born in 0810 in Dal Raida, Scotland.¹ Cinead's father was King of Kintyre and Argyll Alpin Mac Eochaid and his mother was of Galloway. His paternal grandparents were Achais Mac Eithafind and Unuistice of Fortrenn. He had three brothers named Donald, Gregor and Achayers. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 49 on February 6th, 0859 in Fortevort, Perth, Scotland.¹

- King of Scoti and Picts from 834 to 859. King of Dalraida in 841. He was responsible for uniting the Scots and the Picts - which was often known as Scotia, but more commonly as Alba or Albany.
