Lucy Armistead was born on May 24th, 1824 in Bowling Green, Warren Co., KY.. Lucy Armistead's father was Gov. James Turner MOREHEAD and her mother was Susan A. ROBERTS. Her paternal grandparents were Armistead MOREHEAD Sr. and Elizabeth "Lucy" (Lucy) LATHAM. She had three brothers named Robert L., Joseph Clayton and John. She had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named Josiah Espy, Boanerges, Henry Buford (Blackburn), Frank C., Albert Hodges, Theodore and Maria. She died at the age of 76 on August 5th, 1900 in San Pedro, CA..General Notes
