Ann was born in 1650 in England.1  Ann's father was Capt. George Lyddall and her mother was Barbara Strangeways.  She was an only child.

Ann and Edmund were married in a religious ceremony on May 19th, 1682 in New Kent Co., Virginia.1   They had a son and a daughter, named John and Sarah.
