S. J. Lovelady 
S. J. was born on May 12th, 1916 in Carrier, Garfield Co, OK.1 S. J.'s father was Warren Ellis Lovelady and his mother was Eliza Elizabeth Dewhitt. His maternal grandparents were William Ashbury Dewhitt and Lydia Anna Wall. He had two brothers and six sisters, named William Hobert, Lawrence Ober, Myrtle Mae, Flo Anna, Donna, Ethel Fern, Ruby Ellen and Pauline. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 68 in September 1984 in Enid, Garfield Co, OK.1 General Notes
