William R. Letcher 
William R. was born on June 8th, 1794 in Mercer County, Kentucky. William R.'s father was Benjamin Thomas Letcher and his mother was Elizabeth (Margaret?) Robertson. His maternal grandparents were Alexander Robertson and Margaret Robinson. He was an only child. He died at the age of 69 on July 16th, 1863.General Notes
