Thomas Roberts Joyce 
Thomas Roberts was born in 1853 in Henry Co, VA.1 Thomas Roberts' father was Martin James Joyce and his mother was Sarah Anne Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Roberts and Sarah Joyce. He had five brothers and four sisters, named James M., William, John, Lafayette W., Joseph Sidney, Eliza Jane, Nancy, Martha Susan and Lucinda. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Robert Alexander and Caroline M.. He died at the age of 27 in 1880.1 General Notes
