John Vowell Hooker 
John was born about 1447 in Exeter, Devonshire, England.1 John's father was John Vowell and his mother was Alice Hooker. His paternal grandparents were Geraph Voell and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Richard Hooker and <Unknown>. He was an only child. He died in 1493.1 General Notes
Some researches have Margary Bolter, born 1426 and daughter of Roger Bolter, as his mother.
