Reuben Augustus Hinman 
Reuben Augustus was born on May 12th, 1855 in Eagle Twp, Clinton Co, Michigan.1 Reuben Augustus' father was Curtis Edward Hinman and his mother was Sophronia Almira Dewitt. His paternal grandparents were Peleg Hinman and Clarissa Unknown. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named Joseph E, William, Charles W, Edward Curtis, Herbert H, Milford Newel, George Washington, Henry C, Frederick L, Jennie M and Dorleska. He was the third youngest of the twelve children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Myron C and Cynthia. He died at the age of 85 on August 26th, 1940 in Mecosta Co, Michigan.1 -
