James Henson

James was born in 1794 in Randolph, North Carolina. James' father was John Hinson and his mother was Mary McCraney. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Henson and Anne Rosse. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Nicholas Darnall, Jesse H., John, Sarah and Letty. He was the second oldest of the seven children.
