Robert Harcourt 
Robert was born in 1520 in Ranton, Staffordshire, England.1 Robert's father was John Harcourt and his mother was Anne Brereton. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Harcourt and Isabel Egerton. He had four brothers and a sister, named Simon, William, Anthony, Richard and Isabel. He died at the age of 38 on June 20th, 1558.1 General Notes

In legal documents of the period the descendants of this man were refered
to as Cook or Cooke , otherwise Harecourt or Harcourt. "A history of the
family Harcourt" by William Harcourt Bath 1931.
