Isobel Hamilton 
Isobel was born about 1598 in Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. Isobel's father was 1st Earl of Abercorn Sir James Hamilton and her mother was Marion Boyd. Her paternal grandparents were 1st Baron Paisley Claude Hamilton and Margaret Seton. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Earl Abercorn James, Baron Hamilton Claude, Baronet Sir William, Baronet Sir George, Sir Alexander, Anne, Lucrece and Margaret. She was the second oldest of the nine children.-
