Allona Valerie 'Lona' Goforth 
Allona Valerie 'Lona' was born on September 18th, 1892 in McDowell Co, NC. Allona Valerie 'Lona''s father was James Marion Goforth and her mother was Harriet Anna Giles. Her paternal grandparents were George Goforth and Nancy Jane Houser. She had a brother and six sisters, named James Cornelius, Ida Delphinia, Emma Lou, Catharine 'Katie' Irene, Finnie Atherton, Margaret 'Maggie' Miriam and Mamie Louola. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 92 on December 23rd, 1984. She was buried in Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery, Mcdowell Co, NC.General Notes
