Nathaniel Karr Givens 
Nathaniel Karr was born about 1806 in Augusta County, Virginia. Nathaniel Karr's father was Thomas G. Givens and his mother was Elizabeth (Betsy) Kerr. His maternal grandparents were James Kerr and Jane Robertson. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John Allen "Jack", James Kerr, Thompson, Thomas Kerr, William, Margaret, Elizabeth and Mary A.. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died in Hopkins County, Kentucky.General Notes
