Catherine A. was born in 1875 in Maryland.1 Catherine A.'s father was George Reeder Garner and her mother was Mary Thomas. Her maternal grandparents were William Henry Thomas and Eleanor Maria Maccubbin. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Henry C., William H., Lola Wood and Eleanor M..
