Gerard Fowke

Gerard was born about 1629 in Gunston Hall, Staffordshire, England.¹ Gerard's father was Roger Fowke of Gunstan Hall and his mother was Mary Bailey. His paternal grandparents were John Fowke of Gunston Hall and Dorothy Cowper; his maternal grandparents were William Bayley and <Unknown>. He had eight brothers and five sisters, named Roger, Anthony, Edward, Francis, Robert, William, Thomas, John, Susan, Judith, Jane, Dorothy and Many. He was the oldest of the fourteen children. He died before October 30th, 1669 in Nanjemoy, Charles County, Maryland.¹
