Joseph Franklin was born about 1866 in Missouri.1 Joseph Franklin's father was Jacob Virden Foster and his mother was Sally Ann "Sally " Sanders. His paternal grandparents were Micajah Harris Foster and Sally Verden. He had six brothers and six sisters, named Micajah Lafayette, Thomas A., Stephen S., John Humble, Samuel Bartlett, Benjamin B., Martha A., James High, Jane P., Ibbie L, Mary Elizabeth and Sarah Eliza. He was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children. He died on May 19th, 1938 in Ozark County, Missouri. He was buried in 1938 in Mammoth Cemetery , Mammoth , Ozark County, MO.-
