William Braxton. was born in 1847 in Rappahannock Co., VA.. William Braxton.'s father was Benjamin Franklin EASTMAN and his mother was Lucy Elizabeth BROWNING. His maternal grandparents were John Dabney BROWNING Jr. and Mary Routt DULANEY. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Robert Woodford., F. Dabney, Philip Byrd, John Routt, Edwin Lawson, George B., Charles Clinton, Emma Chapman, Annie May and Ada Virginia. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.-
