John Dowell

John was born in 1736. John's father was Thomas C. Dowell and his mother was Elizabeth Ann Coomes. His paternal grandparents were William Dowell and Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were Richard Thomas Coomes and Winifred Clare Green. He had seven brothers named George, Nehemiah, Thomas, William, James, Francis and Jeremiah.
