William Whitfield Dobyns 
William Whitfield was born on May 1st, 1866 in Bedford Co, Va. William Whitfield's father was Colita "Colity" Whitfield ("Whitfield Dobyns" "Whit" Dobyns) Dobyns and his mother was Julia Ann Tellitha ("Juliann") Martin. His maternal grandparents were William Joseph Martin and Elinor "Elender" Ellis. He had four brothers and two sisters, named "Clyde", Allen Lee, Griffin "Griff", Josephus Samuel Silas, Elizabeth "Betty" D. and Karion (Keron) Louella Ellen. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 59 on June 20th, 1925 in Bedford Co, Va. He was buried in Huddleston, Bedford Co, Va.General Notes
