Dessie, known as Dessie, was born on October 12th, 1866 in Ohio. Dessie's father was Christian NORMAN and her mother was Hannah B. McCLARY. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac NORMAN and Isabel WISE. She had six brothers and five sisters, named John D., Franklin H., Infant, Crayton, Christian, Opha, Susannah H., Lauritta, Ada Mae, Harriet and Bessie. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Moses, Mary J., Malinda, Maggie and Sarah. She died at the age of 57 on October 19th, 1923. She was buried in Fairfield Cem., West Lafayette, Lafayette Twp., Coshocton Co., OH..General Notes
