Robert was born in 1050 in Pays De Caux, Normandie, France.1   Robert's father was Hugo (Le Corbeau) le Corbet and his mother was <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were Moreton Corbet and <Unknown>. He had three brothers named Hugh, Roger and Renaud.  He was the third oldest of the four children.  He died after January 1121 in Alcester, Warwickshire, England.1
