Samuel Coombs (Samuel Combs)

Samuel was born on June 29th, 1851 in Hardin County, Kentucky.¹ Samuel's father was Isham Coombs and his mother was Martha (Patsy) Ann Cash. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Coombs and Elizabeth; his maternal grandparents were Warren Thompson Cash and Katherine Duvall. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named Henry, Warren, Ben, Isham, William, Richard, Gabriel, Adin, Charles, Donna and Betsy. He was the third oldest of the twelve children.²
