Sir John (The Black) Comyn Lord of Badenoch 
John, known as The Black, was born in 1242 in Badenoch, Inverness, Scotland.1 The Black's father was Sir John (The First Red) Comyn and his mother was Amabilia. His paternal grandparents were Lord of Badenoch Richard Comyn and <Unknown>. He had two brothers named William and Alexander. He was the oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Robert, John, Alicia and Marian. He died at the age of 61 in 1303.2 -
