Martin Colyer 
Martin was born on August 19th, 1830 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Martin's father was John Wesley Colyer and his mother was Lydia Memes Purvis. His maternal grandparents were James Purvis and Rhoda Roberts. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named St. Clair, Lindsey Robert, Cyrenus Wait, Jehu, James Perry, Charles Grenade, Stephen, Elizabeth, Harriet and Manerva (Menerva). He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died in 1830.General Notes
