James Collier 
James was born in 1828. James' father was Morgan Colyer Collier and his mother was Elizabeth (Betsy) Purvis. His maternal grandparents were James Purvis and Rhoda Roberts. He had four brothers named Richard, Christopher Columbus, William and John Leonard. He was the second oldest of the five children.General Notes
