Charles Troy Carpenter 
Charles Troy was born on May 11th, 1896 in NC. Charles Troy's father was Edward Anderson Pinckney Carpenter and his mother was Caroline B. 'Callie' Hoke. His maternal grandparents were Peter Philo Hoke and Faithy Ann Goforth. He had a brother and four sisters, named Clarence E., Clara M., Lula A., Daisy Ella and Fanny Emma. He was the second youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 87 on April 14th, 1984 in Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co, NC. He was buried in Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co, NC.General Notes
