George W. Carlisle

George was born in 1834 in Kentucky. George's father was James S. Carlisle and his mother was Jane Reeves. His maternal grandparents were John Reeves and Catherine Perry. He had a brother and six sisters, named James, Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth, Eliza, Martha and Nancy. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children.
