Bessie Mae Brigance 
Bessie Mae was born on April 19th, 1902. Bessie Mae's father was Charles Lee Brigance and her mother was Ida Josephine Pou. Her maternal grandparents were Nathan Allen Pou and Mary Elizabeth Bryant. She had two brothers and a sister, named John Nathan, Jessie Ralph and Charlie Josephine. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 91 on May 6th, 1993.General Notes
