Bart (Bart) 
Bart, known as Bart, was born about 1740 in Stafford Co., VA.. Bart's father was Henry FOLEY and his mother was Ann COURTNEY. His maternal grandparents were John James Courtney and Susanna MATTHEWS. He was an only child. He died in November 1793 in Patrick Co., VA..General Notes
It is supposed by the later generations of the Foley family that Bart & Barbara were living together and having children until the preacher showed up.
Jeremiah born 1794 & James Sr. born 1796 were the sons of Barbara born after the death of Bart in late 1793.
