Sheriff of Derbyshire Thomas Babington 
Thomas was born in 1454 in Dethick, Derbyshire, England.1 Thomas' father was Sir John Babington Sheriff of Derbyshire and his mother was Isabel Bradbourne. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Babington and Isabel Dethick; his maternal grandparents were Henry Bradbourne and Margery Bagot. He had six sisters named Beatrice, Anne, Elizabeth, Isabel, Cicely and Margaret. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 64 on March 13th, 1518 in Ashover, Derbyshire, England.2 General Notes
